AQUALOG Books, Fish & Plants is a home based business run by Jim & Linda Robinson.
Famed aquarist Jim Robinson (B.A., M.Sc.Ed.) is a retired teacher with a passion for tropical fish and
plants, collecting fish books, orchids, bonsai and coaching. He has spoken, judged
and auctioneered throughout the US & Canada at club functions as well as at
National Conventions. (AKA, ALA, ACA, CKA CAOAC, FAAS, OCA) He has written many
articles for club and international magazines including FAMA (3 on spawning
Synodontis) & TFH (spawning Pter. altum) He has spawned over 800 species of fish
and propagated over 180 species of aquatic plants.
Linda (B.Sc. N., R.N., PHN.) is a retired nurse who has worked with the Community
Care Access Centre in the Region of Peel as a case manager. She became involved
with AQUALOG as a method to become more acquainted with her husband's passion for
aquatic plants and fish. She is a devout Christian deeply involved in church
activities. She also teaches and leads classes in ‘Motherwise’. She has also spent
many years teaching prenatal classes and natural childbirth.
Together, this dynamic duo, have been married since 1970 and have 3 children
(Julie, Cam, Danny) and 2 grandchildren (Christopher, Joshua).
